When I became a financial planner, my goal was to make a meaningful difference in the world, one client at a time. Over the years, I’ve helped people navigate strategies around managing debt, buying homes, funding college educations, and enjoying successful retirements. Watching clients achieve their dreams is my greatest reward. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, I’m committed to providing top-tier guidance while being a fiduciary and always acting in my clients’ best interests.
Originally from Portsmouth, NH, I earned my degree in Communications and English from the University of New Hampshire. A combined love for adventure and the mountains brought me to North Tahoe/Truckee in 2001. After starting my career in banking, I transitioned to financial advising in 2011 and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2015, along with my master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning and the Master Planner Advanced Studies title. I’ve attended multiple Kinder Institute of Life Planning workshops and am currently working towards becoming a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.
I’m passionate about community and volunteer work, including serving as a Truckee Town Councilwoman, being an active member of the Rotary Club of Truckee, have provided pro bono financial planning to support veterans, and taught ‘Financial Planning for Women’ through Sierra College Community Education.
When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me at home in Truckee where I’m proud to be raising my two children, alongside their two dogs, a small flock of hens, and a vibrant aquarium. I spend as much time as possible outdoors—skiing, horseback riding, attempting to golf, and gardening, and am an avid traveler, having visited over 40 countries around the globe.
